Batch7 test queue is now available
Dear Extreme Users,
The batch7 queue is now available for use. As explained in a previous post, this queue is intended to give Extreme users who are running jobs on CentOS 6 machines a testbed where they can update their workflows to run in the new CentOS 7 environment. Instructions for compiling software and submitting jobs to the batch7 queue can be found here (you must be on campus or on the UIC VPN to access this page). We request that all users affected by the OS upgrade test their workflows by June 24 and report any problems and/or request additional software to ACER by then. To report a problem, please put in a support request or email us at acer@uic.edu. As a reminder, we expect the upgrade of the cluster to be completed by July 11. We thank you for your cooperation in this effort.
