Instructional Use of Resources Policy
ACER also supports instructional use of its resources and services and is happy to provide in-class tutorials and student accounts on the cluster. However, due to limited resources, our ability to service such requests is subject to the availability of computational hardware and/or ACER staff members. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that all such requests can be accommodated.
We prefer faculty provide a month's notice prior to requesting in-person tutorials from our staff for their classes. At a minimum, we require that faculty instructors request class accounts and/or in-person tutorials at least two weeks in advance. Any requests that are submitted for instructional use after the first four weeks of the semester will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. However, we may not be able to accommodate requests that are submitted after four weeks into the semester.
