The team at ACER endeavors to advance research and education at the University of Illinois at Chicago by providing access to high-performance computing and data resources to researchers and professionals alike, along with training, technical support and expert consultation.
A team of System Administrators and Engineers are primarily responsible for the setup, monitoring and large-scale deployment of new hardware and services at ACER. Moreover, Computational Specialists with expertise in the fields of Big Data research provide access to one-on-one consultations and training. Apart from the full time staff, the Student Support Specialists at ACER are always happy to provide technical support to users for various queries like cluster access, job submissions, software installations, etc.
