Description

This Python tutorial will guide participants through the fundamentals of python for data science starting from the very basics. It is designed to be accessible to people with no previous programming experience.

Learning objectives

  • understand how to get started with Python and Jupyter notebooks
  • work in a Jupyter notebook to run and record Python code
  • understand basic Python syntax to use functions and assign variables
  • create lists
  • use for-loops
  • define functions
