Reminder: Workflow Management and Data Transfer with Globus tutorial this Thursday

Dear HPC Users,

This is a reminder that on Thursday Oct 12, from 3 to 4pm, we will be running the "Workflow Management and Data Transfer with Globus" tutorial. Globus is a non-profit service for efficient, reliable research data management that has become the preferred service for moving and sharing data between and among a wide variety of storage systems at research labs, campus computing resources, and national facilities across the US. Globus is also the preferred data transfer tool for copying data from the current HPC filesystem to the new Research Data Rapids storage system and is the only supported tool for transferring files to and from the Research Data Lake system. Please note that this is also an excellent opportunity to learn how to easily copy your files to one of the new systems and protect yourself against catastrophic data loss in the event the filesystem on Extreme/SABER fails. Additional information about the tutorial can be found here.

This event will be online only. Here is the zoom link for the tutorial.

Best regards,
ACER Team
